Helena Ezzeldin MS, CNS, LDN, 200-RYT

Helena is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist who is dedicated to helping her clients re-discover a healthy relationship with food and their body. Her passion for working in the eating disorder field began with her work at the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient (PHP/IOP) levels of care, where she grew determined to educate and bridge the gap between ‘chronic dieting’ and ‘intuitive eating’. Over the years she has found a deeper connection working with co-morbid health challenges that many times accompany disordered eating such as gastrointestinal conditions, Crohn’s Disease, and Hormonal Imbalances. She has strong experience working with the Binge Eating Population, along with other disorder. In all her practices she leads with the Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES) principles as she guides her clients towards food freedom.

Helena is always continuing to learn and educate herself to best help her clients and is pursuing her Intuitive Eating Counselor Certification. Helena is a Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. She has her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences from The George Washington University, Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health, and is pursing her Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. In addition to Helena’s nutritional expertise, she has also completed her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification.  She uses the principles of connection to breath and body to help clients feel empowered in their own skin and explore breathing techniques to help combat anxiety throughout recovery. In her free time, Helena loves spending time with her dog and cat, exploring new trails and hikes in Virginia with her husband, and making time to be creative through painting and pottery.
